Project goal: The project envisages R&D work aimed at obtaining product innovation
Quality policy especially in vehicles equipped with micro and mild hybrid drives. Innovative pulleys
with significantly greater durability will be made with lower material and energy consumption than at present and they will dissipate heat from the bearings in an original way, which will increase their load resistance:

– thermal – radiation from the combustion engine and as a result of friction
– mechanical – on the belt tension and the instantaneous power of the drive loads

The new technology for producing pulleys will significantly reduce the consumption of plastics, metals and energy. New pulleys will be made depending on the application in two material technologies:

– made of plastic
– hybrid version – made of a metal frame surrounded by composite material for more effective heat dissipation

The planned effects of the project are:

1. implementation of the results of R&D work

2. creation of 5 new job places

3. revenues in business activities due to the implementation of the project results

Implementation of innovative technology for the production of improved rollers and tensioners at Caffaro Sp. z o. o. Sp. k.

Project goal: The goal of the project is to implement a dedicated technology for the production of rollers and tensioners for multi-V belts in passenger cars and trucks, developed by Caffaro as a result of R&D work, based on a patent application entitled “Method for producing a belt roller bushing, a belt roller bushing produced by this method and a multi-grooved belt roller”
The technology in question concerns an innovative method of producing complete pulleys and tensioners using high-performance proprietary technology developed as part of R&D work carried out by a team of Caffaro specialists.

The effect of the project will be the use of innovative methods that will achieve features currently unheard of among competing companies on the market.

The planned effects of the project are:

1. Reducing the generated amount of plastic and metal waste

2. Elimination of oil consumption in the production process of plastic pulleys

3. Extending the durability of the pulleys (warranty)

4. revenues in business activities thanks to the implementation of the project results
